This book offers an introduction to BSL while following a boy called Charlie and his family.
As with the original book in Irish Sign Language (Cathan Can Sign), the idea was to use visual communication to support the spoken word with babies and young children, hearing and hearing impaired, including Autistic children with limited verbal skills. Sign language provides parents and caregivers with a resource and educational tool to communicate with all children through visual communication.
