A dictionary of BSL vocabulary to support theNational Curriculum programme of study for Science. It contains 720 illustrated signs of which 540 are topic specific along with 180 general signs. All of which provide examples from the everyday environment for the main work schemes and units for Key Stage 1 and 2, together with the more technical terms required for Key Stage 3.
The dictionary provides a good basic core vocabulary to provide the language and ability to communicate the ideas and concepts, involved in this wide subject area - covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Included are signs to encourage awareness of global issues and climate change.
