This tape will give you the vocabulary for many of the things you will find in a school – in fact, much of it was filmed in a school. This tape is not a BSL tutor as such – it is more of a dictionary of signs concentrating on a particular theme. There are explanations for every sign on the tape – why they are done the way they are – and that certainly helps most people to remember them. On the tape there are also some occasional, simple stories in nice, slow and easy Sign language using the signs you’ve been shown. The stories and explanations of signs have a voice-over to help you along the way.
